Walk, 7th May 17

North Norfolk Walk Sunday 7th May

The plan is to enjoy a full day out walking the North Norfolk Coast Path from Weybourne to Cromer, and having lunch half way at the Crown Inn in Sheringham. Fish and Chips or a picnic on the sea front are alternatives for anyone who prefers that. It is about 3 miles from Weybourne to Sheringham and a further 4 miles to Cromer, from where we will catch the Coast Hopper bus back to Weybourne. Remember to bring bus passes if you have them. Please do not be put off joining the walk if you feel 7 miles may be too far, as there are numerous places after lunch between Sheringham and Cromer where you can catch the bus which provides a service every 30 minutes. There are a couple of tea rooms and a pub back in Weybourne where you could await the rest of the group.
All day car parking at Weybourne is £7.00 per car.
The walk from Weybourne to Sheringham will take an hour and a half which times nicely for lunch, and Sheringham to Cromer will take about two hours as the route takes in a short climb up Beeston Bump. We should be back in Shotesham by about 6.30pm.
Meet at the Trinity at 9.45am. to share cars.
Friends, families including children and dogs on leads are all welcome, so all we need is favourable weather for a good day out.
