Minutes of the meeting of Shotesham Parish Council held in the Trinity on Tuesday 20^th of January 2026.    

      1. To consider apologies for absence.

Apologies were received from DC J Cook, CC A Thomas, J Nott and S Dinsdale.

2. The minutes of the meeting of 6^th January…plus response to the Reorganisation of Local Government as coordinated by parish councillor J Webber were confirmed
3. Planning Application

• 2026/0006 Location: Careks Lodge

After a full review of the application the Parish Council wishes to note that the height of the proposed loft gables and proposal for large gable windows to rear may create an adverse impact for neighbours and is not consistent with the character of neighbouring properties. Smaller gable windows may be more appropriate for the area.

• Notwithstanding the above reservation there were no objections to the. application
