We are writing to inform you of the publication of the Phase One Consultation Summary Report for East Pye Solar.  

We are grateful to have received a significant volume of feedback during our Phase One consultation – which took place from 23 October to 06 December 2024. Your views and comments have helped improve our understanding of the local area and the aspects of East Pye Solar that you consider important for us to prioritise as we further develop our proposals.

This document provides an overview of the comments submitted to us during our Phase One consultation, and how we are using this feedback to continue to shape a strong set of proposals that are sensitive to the concerns of local communities and key stakeholders, ahead of presenting our updated design during our Phase Two (statutory) consultation later this year. 

While the information in this document is a summary, we want to assure everyone who responded to our consultation that we have read all the responses received in detail. As part of our Development Consent Order (DCO) application, we will be setting out how we have considered all consultation feedback when developing our proposals.

The document also outlines further opportunities for you and the community to comment on our updated proposals through the next stage of consultation. To read more about our upcoming Phase Two consultation, please turn to page 21. 

Please be assured that we remain committed to undertaking a transparent and robust consultation on our proposals. We are grateful for the feedback we received during our Phase One consultation last year.  

We will next be writing to local communities and other interested parties ahead of our Phase Two Consultation, which we expect to hold in Q3 2025.
