    1.To consider apologies for absence.
Apologies received from S Dinsdale. DC John Cook and CC Alison Thomas
In attendance   A Larkin, R Haines, Mr Larkin, B Unwin, P Walmsley, G Jackson

2.Minutes of meeting of 12th of August were accepted

3.To consider the planning application 2025/2236 Land north of Priory Lane.

NB As an interested party/neighbour to the building plot the Clerk stepped down from his role and joined the audience.

After hearing representations from local residents and from the applicant (also a local resident), the Parish Council decided to object to the application for the following reasons:

    • The bungalow would be outside of the development boundary for the village.
    • The village is not a sustainable community with no shops and only a very limited bus service to Norwich. Residents are virtually dependent on the private car to access work, health care services, shops and leisure activities. One new dwelling will not make any material difference to the sustainability of the pub or church.
    • The proposal would create a new entrance onto Priory Lane – making 3 active entrances in c45m. An entrance from the unmade road [also known as Priory Lane] running alongside the site might be preferred..
    • There is a material adverse impact on the Conservation Area and the proposal seems inconsistent with paras 219 and 220 of the NPPF: …

Report complied by a councillor present at the meeting and provided to the clerk to create these minutes

    4. An Urgent matter arising after publication of the Agenda
**A request has been made for a copy of the PC’s submission re the East Pye Solar Farm to be released. It was agreed that access should await the publication by East Pye of all such submissions..
