The meeting broadly supported the application.
Nevertheless there were a number of reservations/concerns as the property is within the conservation area.
The impact of the currently proposed materials [ Zinc roof and painted cladding] on the roadside aspect which would result in the loss of a ’traditional barn-like conversion’
The prominent position the property holds as one leaves or enters the village makes any significant change more obvious.

The meeting remains opposed to the application
The meeting found it particularly difficult to see what ‘material’ alterations had been made to the previous plan that would warrant a change in their view.

Urgent matters
- The meeting welcomed the coroner’s report on the tragic death of a motorist at the Mill Ford in December 2023.
